Following the successful organization of The National Conference on GIS Application from 2009 to 2023, Can Tho University will host the 2024 edition of the conference with the theme "Technology Solutions for Sustainable Resource Management and Development."The primary objective of this year's conference is to create a platform for scientists, managers, and stakeholders to exchange research achievements and experience in the application of GIS and remote sensing technology. These applications span various domains, including environmental and natural resource management, as well as monitoring and mitigating damage caused by natural disasters. The conference aims to propose future research and development directions for GIS and remote sensing technology. Additionally, this annual conference provides an opportunity to develop networks and expand research and educational cooperation with both national and international partners.
